Rick Bisio

Rick Bisio has over 20 years of experience in franchising and has a proven track record as one of the most successful franchise consultants in the country. While Mr. Bisio’s franchising and business ownership experience dates back to the 1980’s, he has been exclusively focused on building bridges between franchisors and individuals interested in opening their own business since 2002. Mr. Bisio has helped thousands of people make the right decision regarding business ownership.

Mr. Bisio is also the author of the acclaimed franchise books – The Educated Franchisee and The Franchisee Workbook. These books are an extension of the work that Mr. Bisio does on a daily basis with FranChoice. Helping people gather the information they need to make the right decision is the primary focus of Mr. Bisio’s practice.

As a teacher and a matchmaker, Mr. Bisio feels that there is no greater reward than seeing a successful business created and knowing that he played an integral part in laying the foundation for that success. He takes great pride in his ability to recognize the unique interests, skills and abilities that each person brings to the table and working closely with people to find the perfect franchise for them.

In 1994, AFC Enterprises hired Mr. Bisio to become a member of the new international department focused on building the Popeyes and Churches brands. Mr. Bisio’s role included identifying and qualifying candidates, establishing common ground and solidifying franchise relationships with individuals and corporations on a worldwide basis. During his time at AFC, Mr. Bisio was promoted from Manager to Regional Director and then to International Director. In 1998, AFC Enterprises acquired both the Cinnabon and Seattle’s Best Coffee brands. Mr. Bisio was involved with the franchising rollout and contributed to the tremendous growth these brands have seen over the past years. During Mr. Bisio’s tenure with AFC Enterprises, he successfully established new franchised locations in over 30 countries.

Upon departing AFC, Mr. Bisio accepted a position with Environmental Biotech, Inc. as Vice President of Global Development. During his time at EBI, Mr. Bisio was responsible for all aspects of the franchise relationship. Mr. Bisio established new locations both domestically and internationally and established eight Corporate Service Centers through franchise buybacks. This win-win approach empowered corporate growth while improving franchise system consistency. Today, Mr. Bisio uses his 20 years of experience in franchising, his advanced education and his experience as an entrepreneur and teacher to help people realize their dream of independent business ownership.
